My first race....that didn't happen

So...as you may have heard me mention before....I am now part of my cousin's racing crew on her sailboat, Que Pasa. Last Saturday was supposed to be my first race but it was canceled due to weather. While I was totally bummed that we didn't get race, I figure that they know better than I do and if they think we shouldn't be out there....I don't want to be out there. The next race will be on April 18th and I'm hoping to have some pictures from that. I'm sure the rest of the crew won't mind if I stop every now and then to take a picture! For now...Here is my cousin Steph just chillin on Que Pasa.

Colorado

I went to Idaho last weekend and spent some
time with my family. We all got together
for breakfast on Saturday and had a great
time but I did not get one picture taken. It
was great to see everyone there. I then went
to Colorado to see my friend Jacqui and her
family. Jac, John, Jer and I went to a Colorado
Avalanche game, which was awesome! I didn't
get as many pictures as I would have liked but
I did get the kids to pose for a couple. Thanks
everyone. It was great to see you!

Just some exciting new photos. I'll be going to see my family in Idaho next weekend and to Colorado a week after so I will have some more people photos soon.

My new favorite pictures from the Salt Lake Marina. I keep trying to get out there for a good sunset picture but never time it quite right and it's too stinkin cold to stay for long!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I took a drive out to the Salt Lake Marina today, where I hope to be spending a lot of time on my cousins sailboat starting this spring. I have wheezled my way on to her race crew! These are just a few pictures I took out at lake. I was a bit early to get a good sunset picture and it was a bit too cloudy but it really is pretty out there.

Winter is here!

Just a picture I took when I was out for a walk with Sidney this morning. We have a ton of beautiful new snow and I love it. I don't necessarily love the freezing weather that comes with it but it's here anyway so I may as well get out and enjoy.

Just another picture I took this morning. My camera has lots of cool options to change your pictures to black and white, sepia etc...so I played around with it a bit. I still have lots to learn but it sure is fun!

I drug my friend Trish up the canyon to play in the new snow last weekend. It was great to get out and the snow makes it all so pretty. I think I may even get Trish out on snow shoes with me sometime soon.
